As many of you have noticed, I am focusing on the Yamaha Attitude basses for all of my live/studio gigs. I had a couple of questions asked regarding the differences among the three versions of the Attitude LTD>....With that in mind, here is the best way I can think of to explain the differences....Enjoy!

A little something to think about in the new year!
I get a lot of messages about various musical genres and what is good/not good. Music is a special language, what speaks to you may or may not speak to someone else. The beauty of this language is that it transcends barriers and joins people from diff walks of life with a common thread. I love to hear stories about bands that people discover, new or older. In this day and age, there is a rich musical kitchen to cook in! I love the discovery, I am STILL finding great bands and albums that are hidden gems...they reach me in a way that other things have not. Then there are those rediscoveries that have been stashed away unheard from in a while, that take you back to the places you first heard them. I love how music evokes sights/sounds/scents/images of a previous time.
I recently spoke with a musician from a band that is not in the mainstream at this point. The music is very moving and has a lot of unique little twists and turns in it. It was fun visiting with this dude. He has a unique perspective on life and the band he played in is pretty cool to boot. I consider it an honor as well to spend time with other musicians who have left their mark on the musical world.
Whether you are a musician or simply a music lover, you owe it to yourself to explore the world of music OUTSIDE your normal listening zone. Inspiration comes from a variety of sources! Step out and try something new, you may just find a gem that speaks to you!!!!
Let's start with an example.......Enjoy!!!!
Another exciting adventure in Pinkbassman world! Spent some time with Billy Sheehan comparing Attitude basses as well as him giving the Pink double neck a spin! There is more to come and also some exciting things in the works!!! Pics....
The Sonic Blue is Billy's Bass! It was pretty cool too, the neck was a little different than mine and he has adjusted it his way....all in all, VERY cool way to spend an afternoon....Many thanks to Billy Sheehan and the fine folks at Yamaha!!!
Here is a bass song! My friend Jon Von Boehm and I worked back and forth to get this jammin!
All basses, no guitars on this track! See if you can figure out who did what!!!!
